The planning phase
During the early advice and planning phase, we begin with a detailed review of the building, analysing available records and fire risk assessments.
Where necessary, our teams assist with early opening-up works to identify façade build-ups and assess any gaps or risks. Our team compiles a clear summary of findings, outlining the steps required for compliance and successful project completion.
The tender process
Once a professional team has been appointed and the tender process begins, we hold a kick-off meeting followed by a site visit to assess conditions and provide an initial findings update.
A dedicated methodology and program for the works are developed alongside a resident liaison strategy and detailed budget. This is all wrapped up into a comprehensive proposal, which is discussed in detail with the client team to ensure all key points are addressed. Once the proposal is agreed upon and approval received, we proceed at pace into the next phase.
The survey phase
A thorough intrusive survey phase is undertaken to fully understand the interfaces on the project and inform the design of the remedial solution.
A detailed findings report is provided, highlighting any surprises found and proposed solutions to prevent holdups on site. Once any additional scope is closed out and the project price is agreed upon, the design phase begins with a series of workshops. A fully comprehensive design is produced, backed by competent fire engineers, and building control experts to ensure a robust and safe solution. Preparations are made for the delivery phase, including a construction phase plan and delivery program to guide the project through to completion
The mobilisation phase
After obtaining the necessary licenses, site mobilization begins. Materials are ordered, resident liaison meetings are held, and access scaffolding is set up to commence installation.
Experienced installation teams carry out the works with QA hold points and third-party sign-offs covering every step of the process. A dedicated Project Manager is based on-site, and a resident liaison strategy is in place to ensure the safety of residents is prioritized and disruption minimized.
Hand over
Upon practical completion and BSR Gateway 3 final signoff, we hand over a safe, sustainable building that not only meets regulatory standards
but also provides a lasting social benefit for residents and the wider community. We ensure a safe environment and continue to support our clients, fostering long-term relationships and delivering a positive impact well beyond project completion.
